Course Director, is the highest recognition or the highest professional category that can be achieved in PADI as a professional. The work to get to this level is tough and requires many years of industry experience.

But this does not mean that it is impossible, or very difficult to achieve it, for this you will have to go through all levels of diving first, both recreational (Open water, advance, rescue …) and professional (Divemaster, Instructor, IDC staff…).

Once you have all the levels, you will have to attend instructor courses and your Course Director must sign them, with them you will be able to show that you have attended instructor courses and that you have the training to be able to take the last course.

In addition to all this, you must justify to PADI why you deserve to be a Course Director and what will be your contribution to the diving community with this title, this must be done through a business plan where you will present your weaknesses, strengths and the market opportunities that you are going to take advantage of.
